The inaugural Born to Runway fashion show made a powerful debut at the iconic Asbury Hotel, bringing together fashion, community, and an inspiring cause for an unforgettable evening in Asbury Park.
Founded by Danielle Salvo, this first annual event supported Mary’s Place by the Sea—a remarkable Ocean Grove-based retreat dedicated to women with cancer diagnoses. The mission behind the night was clear: celebrate resilience, empower survivors, and give back in a meaningful way.
The runway featured stunning looks from local favorites including Destination Asbury, Endless Waves Boutique, Carla Gizzi, and Boho House—each bringing their own unique style to the show.
But what truly made the night unforgettable were the models themselves: a group of fearless, strong cancer survivors who walked the runway with confidence, courage, and undeniable presence. Their energy transformed the event into something far beyond fashion—it became a celebration of life and perseverance.
With more than 180 tickets sold, the turnout was nothing short of incredible for a first-year event, setting the stage for what’s sure to become a highly anticipated annual tradition.
We were proud to play a role in bringing the vision to life by providing a sleek, all-white acrylic “T”-shaped runway—designed to elevate the experience and give every model their moment to shine.
Born to Runway wasn’t just a fashion show—it was a statement. And if this first year is any indication, it’s only the beginning.
