David was our MC and he was A-MAZING!!! He gave us THE BEST song suggestions for our ceremony and reception, was always available to discuss wedding details and was so nice to work with!! VJ was our DJ and he was SAVAGE!! That dance floor was PACKED from the moment he started playing music. This company just did my wedding on New Years Eve 2021. It was the most memorable day of our lives. it was nonstop entertainment!!! Frankie Perez we cannot thank you enough! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. One of a Kind Events made every aspect of planning and coordinating the music for our event easy and flawless. From coordinating with our band Kyla Quinn and her Boyfriends to MCing the entire evening it was truly magical. Both you and Joseph Amari did an absolutely spectacular job. We worked with Frankie Perez and One Of A Kind Events for DJ and MC services for our wedding at McLoone's Supper Club in Asbury Park, NJ in Fall 2021. Frankie was great to work with--upbeat, professional and responsive to our requests. He was also very flexible and understanding when we had to change our original wedding plans due to the pandemic, which meant the world to us. He did a great job with incorporating our story into his MC-ing and engaging with the crowd in ways that were fun, authentic and not over-the-top. Our wedding guests raved about the great time they had and even our loved ones who don't usually dance were out on the dance floor! Thank you for everything, Frankie!

The BEST decision we made was booking One of a Kind Events. Frankie was absolutely amazing from beginning to end and could not ask for anyone better. He not only has a ton of energy and brings life to your event, but truly cares about how you want your special day to turn out and makes the process so easy and enjoyable. VJ Ries was our DJ and had everyone dancing all night long. I could not stop dancing and still have blisters on my feet! We wanted to add some live music so we also had Crystal Vargas (percussionist) and Emily Simone (violinist). If you are thinking about going with them for your event, DO IT!!! Our guests were RAVING about the two of them. Together they were unbelievable. Jaws dropped. Crystal was full of energy and had my husband and I play on the drums which was awesome! Emily was breath taking and also played a solo during dinner. Incredible. I cannot really say enough about One of A kind Events. I guess I will just have to have another event sometime in the future to hire them again!!!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The moment I spoke with Frankie Perez at One of A Kind Events I knew we were going to book with him. From him adapting to the crazy Covid times and having virtual bridal shows to our wedding day , he always went above and beyond. I knew I would not have to stress about our entertainment all thanks to Frankie and his team. Frankie answered any questions we had and made sure he made our vision come to life from the sparklers, co2 guns all the way to the robot and surprise guitarist. VJ Ries was our DJ and had our dance floor packed the entire night. People are still raving about One Of A Kind Events and how they were the best entertainment they have ever heard at a wedding. Frankie was interactive with the crowd and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. If you are reading this review I will tell you to not hesitant and book One of a Kind Events.

Frankie and his team put together the wedding of our dreams for my wife and I. From the moment the dance floor opened no one took their seats and we had multiple people say that was the best wedding they ever went to! Would 100% recommend 1OAK events for all of your entertainment needs.

Jayson was hired for my mothers wedding. He blew away any expectations that we had as not only a DJ to play music but a true entertainer. He reached out to my mother weeks in advance to simply get to know her as well as gather information about the event he will be working. Jayson knew when to get on the microphone and encourage people (OF ALL AGES) to get up and have a good time and when to shut up and let people eat delicious food. He even got my grandparents and great aunts and uncles to get up from they're table! He absolutely KILLED IT!!!

Frankie and his team at One of a Kind Events made my company Holiday Party a blast! Frankie was very professional and easy to work with - from our initial conversation, to brainstorming of the details, to the execution of the event. Frankie and VJ did a amazing job at our wedding. After changing our wedding date 2 times do to covid they company works with us every step of the way. After meeting Frankie and Jayson for the first time our search for a DJ and MC for our wedding was over! Their charisma immediately took away the stress we were experiencing because we knew these guys could make any party incredible! Frankie & the boys are absolutely AMAZING!!! From the first stages of planning all the way until after the event! They went above and beyond for our wedding and there was not one person that didn’t dance the night away! Frankie from 1OAK Events was hired for our wedding in May 2019. He was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. From the interview prior to the wedding to the actual wedding he was beyond thorough. From the entrances to the last dance, Frankie was beyond entertaining and energized. He listened and fulfilled every request we had . He knows how to throw a party, get people involved and also keep the wedding on schedule. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to host your wedding or event.

Words cannot express how amazing this team is! We had DJ Valentine and John as our MC. Frankie was extremely responsive and professional in coordinating plans for our wedding. There were so many personal touches throughout the night that were amazing surprises for our guests! Weeks after our wedding, I continued to receive compliments on our DJ and MC! We had a very unusual and sad situation which required Frankies help. My brother passed away at 29 from cancer attributed to toxic exposures overseas when he was in the Marine Corps. We needed someone to live stream his funeral mass and burial for my brothers Marines who could not make it, but needed to see him being laid to rest. Frankie was respectful, professional and did exactly what we needed him to do. It was a pleasure having his help, and he did my brother a great honor by helping to connect with his Marine brothers. I’m so thankful for Frankies expertise and easiness and willingness to help. Without him it wouldn’t be possible to bring a little ease to the grief of the Veterans who could not make it. Had them at the wedding. Hands down the best I have seen in a long time. Kept everybody on the floor entertained. Everyone had a blast. I'm not much of a dance floor person but, they had me dancing all night.

Absolutely Fantastic! We did not get off the dance floor the entire night! MC Franky and DJ Jayson Jaycot, had everyone dancing and having a great time. Frankie was cool, calm, collected and always available to chat about our plans. We changed our venue and minds quite a few times and he didn’t flinch. Frankie goes above and beyond to make sure your event is over the top. My favorite line was how involved you want the DJ to be one formal to two hanging from the tent? I literally don’t know where to begin!! Frankie, Jayson and the team are THE BEST, personable and professional! They have done four events for us so far, last Friday was our wedding. It was absolutely incredible from beginning to end! I’m still reliving the entire night a week later. The planning process with them was effortless! They perfected every detail for us behind the scenes - the monogram, set up, our song selections, photobooth, flower wall, hanging up our sign on the backdrop, etc. They truly love what they do and our wedding saw and felt that! I just got married yesterday and had One of a kind events DJ and host my wedding. Not only does his personality shine so bright, making him the perfect MC, but he has a great feel for the crowd so he knows how to get everyone dancing and singing; no matter what age your guests may be. Frankie was the star of the party and all my guests to this day keep asking me about the amazing DJ I had. He kept the dance floor packed and made my big night extremely special. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Frankie Perez. He was the MC and DJ for mine and my sister’s destination weddings in Costa Rica. Besides being a natural at entertaining people, he handled very well having to do double duty of DJ & MC so much that you probably wouldn’t have realized he was doing both, which is no easy task. As far as the music aspect, Frankie keeps everyone dancing all night with his music selection and by engaging with guests. As if him being a DJ that keeps everyone dancing all night and an MC that engages with everyone wasn’t enough, he stepped in for the lack of wedding coordinator duties from the resort. He was never asked to do this, he just took charge knowing there needed to be someone in charge of the different wedding parts. If you were a guest, you would’ve thought everything was under control and 6 different people were handling the wedding but it was all Frankie. So if you’re looking for the whole package: a great DJ and entertainer who takes charge, Frankie is it.
